North Bay is a great community built in the late 80’s next to the world renowned Bay Hill Club and Lodge. As with many of the homes built in the 80’s, the lots are larger than most and many have wood frame construction. I do like the fact that the living areas tend to be larger as well although the trade off in many of these homes is that the ceilings are only 8 feet tall.
The most desirable homes here have frontage on the Butler Chain of Lakes and the newest homes here on the lake can be found on Foxhall Court.
My only caveat for this community is that some of the homes are quite close to powerlines. I only caution against this since I’ve never had a buyer request a home sitting right underneath a powerline and I’ve worked with thousands of home buyers. It’s obviously not a big deal for everyone since these homes do sell and always have people living in these homes.
What can I say, North Bay has a great location, nice mix of homes, larger lots, and its really close to Bay Hill. What else could a home buyer want?
